[Iriomote Island SUP and Kayak + Snorkeling] Mangrove SUP/Kayak, BARASU Barasu Island Uninhabited Island Snorkeling One-Day Tour

Starting from the Uehara area of Iriomote Island, let’s embark on an adventure with SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) or kayaking to explore one of Japan’s most lush mangrove forests. Using SUP or a kayak, without the noise of engines, you can fully immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the Iriomote Island territory, a designated World Natural Heritage site. Experience the unique natural beauty that can only be found here on Iriomote Island!

After that, board a snorkeling boat to Basasu, Iriomote’s phantom island. Enjoy a serene time in the ocean, play on the beach of this uninhabited island, and have the chance to encounter sea turtles in the waters around Iriomote Island.

Activities include: transfer from Uehara Port, boat fare, snorkeling instructor, snorkeling equipment, drinks, towels, guide fee, photography (file provided)

Online Reservation Steps:

• Online payment of reservation fee: 2,500 yen/person
• Participation fee, to be paid locally: After the activity, please pay 12,800  yen (including tax) per person in cash. The reservation fee will only be charged in case of no-show.
• Activity Schedule (for reference, will be adjusted according to actual conditions and guide regulations) - Approx. 7 hours (including rest and transfer time)
• After making a reservation, go2 will provide detailed boat boarding and check-in methods, so that you can smoothly meet the guide on Iriomote Island without any worries.

Schedule:

• 9:00 Meeting: Meet the guide at Uehara Port or Uehara area hotel.
• 9:20 Arrive at the activity location: Prepare to start the activity (SUP or kayak).
• 11:00 Finish the first activity
• 11:30 Lunch time (at your own expense)
• 13:00 Lunch break ends, head to the afternoon activity location.
• 13:20 Arrive at the second activity location, prepare to start the activity.
• 13:30 Start the second activity (snorkeling).
• 15:00 Finish the second activity.
• 15:30 Dismissal: Return to Uehara Port or hotel (shower facilities available)

Recommended: Wear a swimsuit, quick-drying and durable clothing, and bring a change of clothes and a towel.

Other

• A reservation is completed after paying the reservation fee and the deposit. Please pay the remaining balance in cash to the local store on the day of the activity. After confirming the trip, the deposit will be refunded.
• If you wish to cancel after making a reservation, please notify us 7 days before the departure date, otherwise, the deposit will be forfeited.
• If the activity is canceled due to weather conditions (determined by the local store), all fees will be refunded. If the experience is stopped due to personal reasons, no refund will be given.
• If Uehara service is suspended, you will be notified about the check-in method at Ohara Port.
