Ishigaki Island Snorkeling at Manta Point

Description:

One of Ishigaki Island's most famous diving spots is undoubtedly "Manta Point" off Kabira Bay. For beginners, you can easily enjoy this experience with simple snorkeling gear, taking a snorkeling boat to Manta Point. Two snorkeling spots are planned: the first is a coral reef snorkeling spot, and the second is Manta Point (weather permitting; no refunds for changes in dive sites).

Online Booking Instructions:

• Online payment of a booking fee: ¥1,800 per person.
• Local payment on the day of the activity: ¥10,200 (tax included) per person, payable in cash after the activity.

Why "Let's Go to Ishigaki Island" is Recommended:

• Chinese and Cantonese-speaking diving guides are available.
• Suitable for those who cannot swim or have no diving experience.
• Enjoy yacht diving in the shop's private sea area, offering a higher standard than shore diving.
• Departing from Kabira Bay, the dive sites are only 10-20 minutes away, saving significant travel time compared to departing from Ishigaki Port, reducing the chance of seasickness.
• The package includes pick-up, boat trip, full equipment, lunch, insurance, and underwater photography (digital files provided). Minimum of one person.

Schedule (subject to change based on sea conditions and snorkeler's conditions):

• 08:00: Hotel pick-up
• 08:30: Check-in and gear fitting
• 09:00: Depart for the first dive site, onboard instruction, and first snorkeling session
• 11:00: Break and travel to the second dive site
• 12:00: Second snorkeling session
• 13:00: Return, lunch, and shower

*Full refunds will be issued for cancellations due to rough sea conditions. Rain does not affect snorkeling and the trip will proceed as scheduled.

Important Reminders:

• Participants must undergo a health check before the activity. Generally, those with ear, nose, and throat, blood, or heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, or those taking prescription medication may not be suitable.
• Those with the above conditions or those aged 60 and over must submit a "Diver Medical Statement" signed by a doctor.

Precautions:

• A booking fee and deposit are required to complete the booking. The balance must be paid in cash to the local shop on the day of the activity. The deposit will be refunded after confirmation of participation.
• Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before departure; otherwise, the deposit will be forfeited.
• Children aged 10 and above can participate. Those with heart conditions, high blood pressure, pregnancy, or other health conditions are not suitable for this activity.
• The total fee includes: boat trip / diving guide / all diving equipment / personal insurance / lunch / commemorative images.
• If traveling to the meeting point independently, please pay close attention to the time and avoid being late or a no-show.
• Swimsuits can be worn under the wetsuit. Shower facilities are available on-site; bring a change of clothes for after the activity.
• Manta point snorkeling is subject to change based on weather conditions. An alternate snorkeling location will be provided if needed.
